General Builder / Groundworker
Meladore Developments Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated General Builder / Groundworker to join our growing team.
We carry out a wide variety of building, groundwork and property maintenance projects across Cornwall, with occasional work away from home when required. No two days are the same, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys varied work and takes pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship.
Whether you’re an experienced tradesperson or someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn and develop new skills, we’d like to hear from you.
Duties will include:
- General building works
- Groundworks and drainage
- Foundations and concrete works
- Slabbing, paving and kerbing
- Brickwork and blockwork
- Carpentry and fencing
- Property maintenance and repairs
- Working as part of a professional team on a variety of construction projects
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety
What we’re looking for:
- Previous construction experience preferred
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
- CSCS card preferred but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Willing to travel to sites across Cornwall and work away when required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
