Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care according to each individual’s care plans, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and professionalism
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity
- Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients, their families, and the wider care team to ensure everyone stays informed and engaged
- Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately
- Drive or accompany clients on outings or appointments when required, ensuring safe transportation and support
- Contribute to creating a positive environment by encouraging social interaction and participation in activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to use IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and patience when supporting vulnerable individuals
