Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various holiday cottage premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces bed making
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed within scheduled timeframes and to the highest standard
Qualifications
- Previous experience in holiday cottage cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as required
