Our online test supplier will be performing scheduled maintenance between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on 19th July 2026. You will be unable to access tests during this period.
If you are in the middle of a test when the maintenance begins, your progress will be paused. You will be able to resume your test from where you left off via your application centre once the downtime has ended. Please note that you will not be able to launch any new tests while the system is offline.

Hybrid working at HMRC

Locations
Our Eastbourne office is currently closed for refurbishments. Successful candidates for this location will be required to attend an alternative office until the site reopens in 2027.

Please be aware that you can be posted to any location that you put in your preferences. If you would only like to be posted to one location, please confirm one location only.
Successful candidates must select one of the locations noted in this advert as their base office and will be expected to undertake regular travel to this location under HMRC hybrid working policy.
We will create separate merit lists for each location and make job offers from those lists. If successful you will be placed onto the list for your chosen locations. If you accept a role in one of the locations, you will automatically be removed from any other merit list.
Due to the way the CS Jobs system is set up, when choosing your preferred locations, you will find that the Wembley location will not appear on the list of options.
