As a skilled Dry Liner, you will be responsible for installing drywall, plasterboard, and other wall linings to create smooth, durable surfaces for various building projects. Duties
- Measure, cut, and install drywall or plasterboard panels accurately according to project specifications and schematics
- Secure panels using hand tools, power tools, and fasteners to ensure a seamless finish
- Apply joint compound, tape, and plaster to create smooth wall surfaces ready for painting or finishing
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades to coordinate installation processes
- Fabricate custom wall sections and modify panels as needed using fabrication techniques and tools
- Inspect completed work for quality standards, ensuring proper alignment and finish
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris safely
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall installation, plastering, or related construction roles
- Strong knowledge of construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, knives, levels, and measuring tapes
- Experience operating power tools including drills, saws, and sanders
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively on-site
