Job Description
We are a leading, well-established loft installation company, operating in East and West Sussex and surrounding area's. We are looking for a proactive, reliable, motivated and hardworking Lead Installer to join our company. This role is perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their career in the loft installation sector.
You will have at least 2 years’ experience of installing high-quality loft insulation, boarding, ladders, and hatches to improve home energy efficiency, access and storage. We require a strong work ethic, high standards and a desire to lead by example are essential as are good leadership skills and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Install , train and supervise loft insulation, boarding, ladders, and hatches and storage solutions in domestic properties.
- Safety: Promote and adhere to strict health & safety guidelines, working safely at heights and in confined spaces.
- Customer Service: Liaise professionally with customers, explaining the installation process. Leaving the area completely clean and tidy.
Requirements
- Clean Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Experience: Must have at least 2 years loft installation experience.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to lift materials, climb ladders, and work in confined loft spaces.
- Skills: Good manual dexterity and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Attitude: Punctual, reliable, and able to demonstrate new skills to junior employees. Excellent customer service skills.
- DBS check: Upon successful application a DBS certificate will be a requirement. This will be applied for by More than loft ladders.
