Admin Assistant – 1 Year Maternity Cover
Location: Marsh Barton, Exeter, Devon
Salary: £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week, including a 30-minute lunch break)

ADS Drilling is looking for an enthusiastic Admin Assistant to join our friendly team on a 12-month maternity cover contract (there may be the opportunity for a permanent role at the end of the contract.) This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with our Directors, Drilling Supervisors and drilling crews, helping to coordinate the day-to-day operations of our team working across the UK and Europe.
Although this is a maternity cover position, there may be the opportunity for a permanent role at the end of the contract.

Key Responsibilities
As our Admin Assistant, you'll be responsible for:
- Working closely with the Director and Drilling Supervisors to ensure weekly programmes are planned and kept up to date.
- Managing and processing client booking forms.
- Maintaining the company training matrix and arranging employee training courses.
- Recording employee holidays and sickness.
- Assisting with vehicle fleet administration and maintaining fleet records.
- Communicating with drilling crews, clients and suppliers to ensure jobs run efficiently.
- Providing general administrative support to the office and operational team.
- Assist with general accounts administration.
About You
- Has excellent administration and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload in a busy environment.
- Is proactive, adaptable and able to work independently using their own initiative, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Has excellent communication skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Previous experience with Xero and payroll would be advantageous.
