Purpose of Role:
- Timely and safe delivery of goods to our trade and retail customer base.
- Health and Safety compliance with the law and company policy and procedures.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating in compliance with relevant and current driver regulations. (including mechanical lifting equipment where applicable).
- Working cooperatively with other Branches and Group companies, to the overall benefit of the Company and Group.
- Ensuring duties are carried out to a high standard of customer service.
- Ensuring duties are carried out as part of a safe working environment (including manual handling).
- Those duties undertaken by Yard Operatives (where applicable).
- Other duties and responsibilities express and implied which arise from the nature and character of the post within the department as deemed by your Manager.

Variation
The above duties are not exhaustive or exclusive. We are a changing company and as such flexibility is required by all employees so that we are responsive to market changes. In these circumstances it will be the aim to reach agreement on reasonable changes, but if agreement is not possible, the Company reserves the right to make changes to your job description following consultation.
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
