The Opportunity
Our client is one of the UK's leading leisure management providers, with a strong track record of growing membership and building genuine community presence across their sites. They're looking for a commercially driven Sales, Marketing & Front of House Manager to lead membership growth, drive revenue, and be the face of the centre.
This is a real all-rounder of a role, and a genuine springboard into a leisure management career. You'll own the full sales journey from first enquiry through to retention, shape the centre's local marketing and social media presence, and lead a front of house team that sets the tone for the whole member experience. If you're ambitious, love being visible, and enjoy the mix of sales, marketing, and people leadership, this role gives you room to grow into all three.
On offer is up to £35k plus commission, a genuine career pathway within a fast-growing leisure management company, and the chance to make a real, visible impact on a site you can call your own.
Key responsibilities:
- Sales and membership growth: Drive monthly sales targets and KPIs, and manage the full sales journey from enquiry to retention.
- Marketing and social media: Plan and deliver the site's social media calendar, create content, and manage online reviews and reputation across platforms such as Google and TripAdvisor.
- Partnerships and local presence: Build corporate and community partnerships, and lead on the marketing and publicity of centre activities and events.
- Team leadership and operations: Manage recruitment, rotas, and monthly planning, and identify and deliver staff training and development.
- Financial performance: Support delivery of the site's budget and revenue targets, and produce monthly performance records and reports.
About you:
- Sales and marketing experience: At least two years of management experience, with a demonstrable background in sales and marketing.
- A natural relationship-builder: Able to build strong relationships with customers, clients, and colleagues, and gain genuine respect from the teams around you.
- A confident communicator: Comfortable communicating and directing at different levels of the organisation.
- Flexible and hands-on: Reliable, adaptable, and happy to work additional hours when the role demands it.
- Customer-obsessed: A clear commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs, with a genuine passion for quality and training.
