Job Summary
Absolute Electrics are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team as a self-employed Sub Contractor due to ever-increasing workload.
Although we're initially looking for a part-time self employed sub contractor to begin with, we're open to discussing joining us on a permanent employed basis further down the line. This is a new position within our company so we're open to making it work the best for both you and us.
This is job would be perfect for someone starting out on their own and looking to add to their workload or someone looking to slow down from full time work or just someone who wants more flexibility than the standard working hours expected of the normal 9-5, 5 days per week. This is a totally flexible job with no fixed hours- if you want to fill one week in your diary but only work a few hours the next, thats fine.
We're looking for a fully qualified electrician with experience in new installations, repairs & maintenance, fault finding and testing.
Duties/Skills
- Carry out EICRs (test & inspect qualification required - inline with updated testing regulations)
- Domestic installations & repairs
- Some small-scale commercial work
- Work safely and efficiently, following the regulations/guidelines
- The ability to follow instructions is important
- Confident working both alone and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills are a must
- Professional attitude and approach to work
- Own van/vehicle and tools required- we'll source any specialist equipment needed for each job but you must have your own transport and basic tools.

Absolute Electrics are electricians based in Stalbridge but cover most areas of Dorset and some areas of Somerset & Wiltshire.
Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
