Wilo Commercial Projects is a growing commercial fit out and bespoke furniture company working across care, healthcare and commercial environments.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team.
This is not simply a standard decorating position. We are looking for someone who wants to develop their skills and become an important part of a growing commercial fit out business.
The Role
Your main responsibility will be carrying out high quality painting and decorating work as part of our commercial refurbishment and fit out projects.
When decorating work is quieter, you will work alongside our experienced installation team, assisting with the installation of bespoke furniture, kitchens, media walls, reception desks and other commercial interiors.
A major part of the future development of this role will be specialist spray finishing.
A large proportion of our bespoke furniture is manufactured with a high quality sprayed finish. We are looking for someone who is interested in learning and developing professional furniture spraying and finishing skills.
Full training can be provided in this area for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Interior painting and decorating
- Preparation, filling, sanding and finishing
- Applying high quality paint finishes
- Decorating as part of commercial refurbishment projects
- Snagging and finishing completed installations
- Preparing bespoke furniture and joinery for finishing
- Learning specialist furniture spraying techniques
- Supporting our installation team when required
- Assisting with the installation of bespoke furniture and fitted interiors
- Maintaining clean and professional working environments
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you will have previous professional painting and decorating experience and take genuine pride in achieving a high quality finish.
We are particularly interested in someone who is ambitious and wants to expand their skills beyond traditional decorating.
You should be:
- Experienced in painting and decorating
- Confident with preparation and finishing work
- Reliable and able to work as part of a small team
- Particular about the quality of your work
- Clean, organised and professional on site
- Willing to learn new skills
- Interested in learning furniture spraying and specialist finishes
- Happy to assist with other aspects of commercial fit out work when required
- Comfortable travelling to projects
- Willing to occasionally stay away from home for projects
- Hold a full UK driving licence
Previous spraying experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Experience: Painting & Decorating, minimum 3 years preferred
Licence: Full UK Driving Licence required
