Interim Finance Manager – Driffield

We are currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager to join a well-established business based in Driffield. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who can quickly take ownership of the finance function and provide strong financial support during an interim period.
The RoleWorking closely with senior management, you will oversee the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, effective financial controls and smooth financial operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day finance function
- Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Managing cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
- Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing financial transactions
- Supporting year-end accounts and audit requirements
- Ensuring VAT and other statutory requirements are completed accurately
- Providing financial analysis and insight to support business decisions
- Managing and supporting members of the finance team
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and financial controls
About YouWe are looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller who can hit the ground running in an interim environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience at Finance Manager or Financial Controller level
- Strong management accounting and reporting experience
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience managing a finance team
- Strong knowledge of financial controls and accounting processes
- The ability to work independently and confidently with senior stakeholders
- Experience working in an interim or change-focused environment would be advantageous
Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience.
