WE ARE LOOKING FULL TIME QUALIFIED EARLY YEARS STAFF LEVEL 3 MIN
( sorry no Health & Social Care Qualifications) - older qualifications pre 2014 will be considered i.e TA/PLAYWORK if at level 3 with post qualifying experience.
ENGLISH GCSE IS ALSO REQUIRED FOR ALL QUALIFICATIONS POST 2016.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development through engaging activities. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to manage daily nursery operations while providing exceptional childcare.
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development.
- Supervise children during their play, ensuring a safe and supportive environment is maintained. Be a great Play Buddy, friend & role model.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, organised nursery space that is conducive to learning.
- Work together to collectively provide the mindful adults of the 'Leap Ahead Family'
Skills
- Strong background in Early Childhood Education & relevant qualifications in childcare.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences.
- Strong organisational skills to manage daily tasks effectively.
- A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their growth.

Rate of pay @ 21 - £13.10, Under 21 years £11.24 for under 21's ( Level 3)
