LGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

Hours: Monday–Friday, 05:45–14:00

About the Role
We are looking for LGV Class 2 Drivers to join our refuse collection team.
This is a great opportunity for a Class 2 driver looking for regular weekday work, early finishes and the potential for a permanent position.
The role operates on a task-to-finish basis, meaning you will be paid until 14:00 even if your route is completed earlier. Routes are often completed ahead of schedule, making this a particularly attractive opportunity for someone who values an early finish.
You will act as the charge-hand for a small team of loaders, helping to ensure the daily round is completed safely and efficiently. Although driving is the main part of the role, you will also get involved with loading when required, so a hands-on and team-focused approach is important.
What We Offer

- 3 hours overtime paid at time and a half for completing your full Monday–Friday shifts

What We're Looking For
- LGV Class 2 (HGV2) licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digi Tacho Card
- Reliable and punctual approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable assisting with manual loading when required
