We are looking for a chef to cater to our clients needs.
To manage promote and develop the existing catering operations to maintain a high quality, cost effective and sustainable service. To oversee the day to day running of the department and delivery of hot and cold food to a high standard
1. Assist in maintaining compliance for Food Hygiene Certificate inspections
2. Exceptional High standards of food quality and preparation
3. Work along FSA’s and motivate kitchen staff
4. Awareness of P&L of catering department
Hours 38.5 hrs per week-3/4 shift pattern over 2 week rota period. To include weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements include:
- An accredited food safety level 3 minimum
- An understanding of special dietary requirements such as diabetes, gluten free, pureed, soft etc
- The ability to prepare excellently presented, wholesome and nutritious food, from scratch
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Must be able to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Min of 2 years catering management experience
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential, providing you are able to fulfil the above requirement
Salary is negotiable depending upon knowledge, qualifications and experience.
