We are seeking an experienced Senior /Deputy Manager with the ambition and capability to progress into a Registered Manager role within our Ofsted-registered Supported Accommodation service for young people aged 16–18.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, safety, and positive outcomes for every young person in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the service.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted requirements and the Supported Accommodation Regulations 2023.
- Promote safeguarding and the welfare of all young people.
- Manage, supervise, and develop support staff.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities and external agencies.
- Oversee support plans, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and work towards achieving outstanding outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within supported accommodation, residential childcare, or a similar setting.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Proven experience in managing teams and leading services.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or currently working towards it) is desirable.
