Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to all safety regulations. Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 lorry for multiple deliveries across various locations within scheduled routes.
- Load, secure, and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring items are transported without damage.
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise time and fuel efficiency.
- Obtain signatures and complete delivery documentation accurately.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts, reporting any maintenance concerns promptly.
- Adhere strictly to road safety laws and company policies during all driving activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes.
- Experience in commercial driving environments is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and handle physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading goods.
- Flexibility to work variable shifts as required by operational needs.
Pay: From £33,000.00 per year
