Job Role:
We are seeking a experienced Barista who is also passionate about food.
The ideal candidate will have barista experience and love making delicious locally roasted coffee but also have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting (both in the kitchen prepping as well as FOH with customers). As an independent business, we are proud to give our customers the best and friendliest customer service around, so we want people's people!
Working Hours:
This role is a part time role between 15-20 hours a week so could suit school hours or around another job. You will get regular shifts each week (around 3 shifts a week). We are looking for 2 people who are available for set days each week and must also be available during school/uni holidays too as this is a permanent role throughout the whole year!
Duties:
- FOH - make delicious coffees, hot and iced drinks, operate tills, replenish food displays and fridges, ensure our venue is clean and tidy at all times!
- Kitchen - help with food preparation (mainly sandwiches, salads and buffets), ensuring compliance with food safety regulations - you don't need food qualifications, you will be shown all recipes!
- Demonstrate great customer service skills.
Skills:
- Barista experience is preferable
- Experience in food preparation and passion for good quality food is ideal.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
