Beeches Buffet, a local café and catering company in the Horsham town centre for more than 23 years is now looking to expand and grow. This brings an exciting opportunity for an Individual to join our long standing team as a Barista/Sandwich Artist. A part time position is available and well suited to an individual with previous experience in the hospitality industry.
Part time hours are flexible.. Off site catering events will provide extra hours if needed.

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks according to established standards.
- Support catering events by setting up tables, serving guests, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
- Manage cash register operations accurately while handling transactions efficiently.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times.
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and utensils to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide friendly service to customers and guests, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee machines and beverage preparation is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene is essential.
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with team members and customers.
