We're looking for a Sous Chef who wants to be part of a kitchen that genuinely cares about quality. Someone who leads by example, thrives during busy service and takes pride in developing both food and people.
The Role
Working alongside our Head Chef Lewi Craig, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring every service is organised, consistent and executed to the highest standard.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
- Coaching and developing junior chefs.
- Maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency.
- Managing prep, stock control and ordering.
- Upholding food safety and hygiene standards.
- Driving efficiency without compromising quality.
- Contributing ideas for seasonal menus and new dishes.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or an experienced Junior Sous ready for the next step.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Calm under pressure with excellent organisational ability.
- A genuine passion for cooking with quality ingredients.
- High standards and attention to detail.
- Someone who enjoys being part of a close-knit team and creating memorable dining experiences.
