We’re looking for an experienced Barista / Till Operator to join the team at Milo Bagels!
Milo Bagels is a brand-new independent bagel shop, open 7 days a week, and we’re passionate about serving exceptional coffee alongside freshly made, high-quality bagels. We’re looking for someone who loves great customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to be part of a growing independent business from the very beginning.
What you’ll be doing:
* Preparing and serving consistently excellent coffee and other hot drinks.
* Greeting customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Operating the till and handling payments accurately.
* Learning our menu inside out so you can confidently talk customers through our bagels, fillings, and specials.
* Keeping the coffee station, front of house, and seating areas clean and well presented.
* Helping with stock replenishment and opening/closing duties.
* Working as part of a close-knit team to create a welcoming atmosphere.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has previous barista experience and can produce high-quality coffee.
* Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Is reliable, punctual, and enjoys working as part of a team.
* Is enthusiastic about food and happy to learn everything about our bagel menu.
* Can stay calm and organised during busy periods.
* Is flexible to work weekdays and weekends, as we’re open 7 days a week.
