About the Role
We have an exciting entry-level opportunity for a Trainee Site Fitter to join our installation team. In this role, you will work directly alongside our experienced Lead Fitters, learning how to safely recover old air handling equipment and install new, replacement air handling units and ductwork systems across the UK and Ireland.
Full training will be provided, making this the perfect starting point for someone looking to build a long-term, practical career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Fitter: Support the installation team on-site and follow technical instructions closely.
- Site Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure the active work areas are kept safe, organised, and tidy at all times.
- Hands-on Assembly: Learn to use manual tools to safely dismantle old machinery and build new air handling equipment.
- Learn Technical Skills: Develop your ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (including 3rd angle projection).
What We Are Looking For:
- Licences: A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
- Enthusiasm and Drive: A genuine desire to learn a skilled trade and progress within the company.
- Travel Flexibility: You must be comfortable working away from home from Monday to Friday throughout the UK and Ireland.
- CSCS Card: If you already hold a valid CSCS card, this is a distinct advantage to get you out on-site faster
