Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our children's care facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of children in our care, whilst maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a compassionate approach to child care. Previous experience in children’s home, assisted living, nursing home environments, or home care settings specialising in special needs, EBD or complex need care will be highly advantageous. The manager will play a pivotal role in developing personalised care plans and supervising staff to deliver high-quality care.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Children’s Home Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our residential home.
You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance, while leading a motivated team to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall running of the children's home, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all residents
- Ensure safeguarding and child-centred care is embedded in practice
- Oversee personalised care plans and monitor progress
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations
- Recruit, supervise, and develop staff
- Work collaboratively with external agencies
- Manage budgets, resources, and administration
About You
Essential:
- Experience in children’s residential care
- Leadership or management experience
- Strong safeguarding knowledge
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
- Experience with trauma/EBD
- Knowledge of Ofsted frameworks
