Job Description
We are currently recruiting for two Groundworkers to join an ongoing streetworks/highways project on a 16-week contract.
The role will involve carrying out groundworking on a live highways/civils site, supporting excavation, drainage, and groundwork operations while ensuring all works are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out highway civils work
- Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting defects
- Working in line with site health & safety regulations
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Operator Card
- Previous experience on highways or streetworks projects
- Strong awareness of health & safety on live sites
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Full PPE required
- Reliable and punctual
Preferred
- Streetworks accreditation (advantageous but not essential)
- Previous experience in civils/highways environments
