UpNorth Group (UNG) are an award-winning, market-leading group of specialist building services, based on Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead. We are currently looking for a professional, friendly and highly organised Reception Administrator to join our team in a public-facing role, providing front-of-house support alongside administrative assistance to our wider Project Administration team.
This is a varied and rewarding position, well suited to someone who enjoys being the first point of contact for a business while playing a key role in supporting operational and project functions.
The Role
As Reception Administrator, you will be the welcoming face and voice of UNG, managing daily reception duties and supporting the administrative needs of our project teams.
The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a salary of up to £27,000 + benefits.
Duties
- Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors, clients and contractors, delivering a professional and friendly welcome
- Managing a public-facing reception desk including handling all incoming calls, emails and general enquiries
- Booking & coordinating meeting rooms and visitor arrangements
- Maintaining a tidy, organised reception and meeting room environment
- Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
- Providing administrative support to the Project Administration team with tasks such as accommodation booking, fleet management, site document control.
About You
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administrator, or customer-facing role
- Confident, approachable, and professional with excellent communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Excellent ability to multi-task
- Competent using Microsoft Office packages
- Proactive, reliable and a strong team player with a positive attitude
