EyeCare Merry Hill is combining the need of excellent care in optometry alongside luxury wear allowing patients to have an experience like no other.
Full training will be provided however we are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask and is keen to learn about optics and how to support patients journeys with us.
Job Summary
We are seeking a positive and product focused Optical dispensing Assistant to join our EyeCare Team. As a Dispensing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting optometrists and opticians in providing excellent eye care services to our patients through the purchasing of our products.
Full training will be provided along side experience days to help support understanding of Optics and the products we have. All we ask if to have the right attitude and willingness to learn and we will handle the rest!
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with patient glasses selections, being an expert in product ranges, using optical equipment, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist optometrists and opticians in conducting eye examinations and vision tests
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and organized
- Help patients with frame selection and fitting
- Take accurate measurements for eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Perform basic repairs and adjustments on eyeglasses
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
Employment Requirements:
Part Time Permanent Position - Option to Full Time
Approximate 7.5 Hour Day Shift
3 Day working week
Monday to Sunday working days
