Working Hours are
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 15.00-17.30
Tuesday and Thursday 15.00-17.45
Rate of Pay is £12.71 per Hour
An Enhanced DBS is required which we will help obtain
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Ensure all floors are swept, mopped, or vacuumed efficiently to promote a safe environment.
- Handle janitorial tasks such as window cleaning, dusting high and low surfaces, and cleaning fixtures to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure safety and accessibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Reliable attendance record with a positive attitude towards teamwork.
