Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members across various departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns, providing personalised service, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting team members to uphold company standards and improve performance.
- Monitor daily operational activities, including reservations, and facilities management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Handle escalated guest complaints or emergencies with tact and professionalism.
- Support human resources functions including scheduling, recruitment assistance, and staff development initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality sector, ideally in hotel management or similar environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to staffing, training, and employee relations.
- Organised with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
