Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant childcare team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
- Observe and assess individual children’s progress, maintaining detailed records to inform future planning.
- Support children’s emotional well-being by fostering a caring and inclusive environment that encourages confidence and independence.
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on best practices in childcare and early childhood education.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering strictly to health and safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s development, achievements, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that meets regulatory standards for childcare settings.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Hold a valid Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification or equivalent recognized childcare certification.
- Demonstrate strong management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development stages, and safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A valid driving license is preferred for roles requiring travel between multiple childcare locations or community outreach activities.
