West Norfolk Community Transport is looking for a Passenger Assistant to work in the Swaffham area.
Passenger Assistant for Home to School for SEN.
This is a permanent role with work in term time only.
Weekly hours average 15 hours based on the journey times.
Your role will be to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our service users and we will give the full accredited training to enable you to do this. You will pick up service users from their home address and take them to their place of school and then return them in the afternoon. You will work with the driver to assist service users to board and leave vehicles and this could include physically assisting passengers.
We will need you to participate in working flexible hours with general core working hours being between 07.00 - 09.30 and 15.00 – 17.00. (No Weekends)
As this Role is working closely with Vulnerable Individuals a fully enhanced adults and children DBS will need to be carried out.
We will provide Passenger Assistant and First Aid training for the successful candidates.
