Calypso provides high-quality childcare and activity programmes where children can start and end their school day in a safe, welcoming and engaging environment. We are looking for a caring and reliable Level 3 qualified practitioner to join our Breakfast Club team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on childcare role supporting children aged 3–11 years before the school day begins.
You'll help create a calm, positive start to each morning by supporting breakfast, encouraging play and ensuring children are happy, settled and ready for school.
Responsibilities
- Support children aged 3–11 during our Breakfast Club.
- Prepare and supervise breakfast.
- Plan and deliver simple, engaging activities.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children.
- Meet EYFS welfare requirements for younger children.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Help maintain a clean, organised and welcoming environment.
Pay & Hours
- £22.00 per hour
- 8:00–9:00 AM, Monday to Friday
- 5 hours per week
- Term time only
- Permanent part-time position
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential).
- Experience working with children aged 3–11.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS.
- Ability to meet EYFS ratio requirements.
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
