The Opportunity
Salary: £32,597 to £35,412 per annum (£26,430 to £28,712 per annum pro rata)
Working Pattern: 30 hour per week Part time final working arrangement to be agree with hiring manager.
Location County Hall, Chichester and hybrid working

As a Business Delivery Officer, you will support the Principal Business Planning and Performance Lead by providing high-quality performance analysis and insights.
Your work will enable the service to proactively identify emerging issues, enhance decision-making, and clearly communicate performance to senior stakeholders across HTP and partner organisations.
You will also contribute to current and future business planning, to ensure the directorate is well prepared for evolving operational and strategic demands.
Your responsibilities will include collating, analysing, and reporting on corporate, directorate, and service metrics, as well as contract performance across various technical areas.
You will also work closely with senior stakeholders, providing insightful commentary alongside KPIs and Management Information (MI) to facilitate well-informed decision-making.
This varied role merges operational expertise, analytical precision, and strategic planning. You will embed policies, support strategic growth, and ensure organisational needs are met within budget. Occasional visits to depots will build supplier relationships and enhance your understanding of frontline operations.

To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, build credible relationships, and communicate information clearly.
- Strong partnership skills, with the ability to establish and manage effective links both within and outside the organisation, coordinating partners to achieve shared objectives.
- Experience in interpreting complex information to produce high-quality reports; capable of organisation, planning, and meeting deadlines for reports, plans, and detailed documents.
- Experience in developing robust, viable strategies and reports that meet legislative and organisational requirements, including collaborating with colleagues and partners to agree on policy details and obtain necessary approvals.
- The ability to anticipate issues, adapt to change, and proactively plan solutions, delivering pragmatic and effective problem-solving.
