Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CIS Onsite Welder Fabricator for a job we have in Manchester must be able to stick weld, will be refurbing foot bridges will be installing new steels and refurbing old steels. Wage is negotiable, Must have CSCS card and relevant experience. Having your own Labourer would be advantage too.
Responsibilities
- Perform Stick welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate metal parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components with precision to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues and suggest improvements for efficiency and quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in TIG welding and general welding practices.
- Strong knowledge of welding standards and techniques.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Solid understanding of sheet metal work and mechanical principles.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during fabrication processes.
- Experience with assembly processes and mechanical fitting is desirable.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precision in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.35-£20.50 per hour
