Are You Looking for a Rewarding Role Working with Horses and People? My Life Legacy is looking for a passionate and motivated Equine Coach to join our friendly team and help make a real difference through horses and equine assisted activities.
As part of a charity organisation, My Life Legacy’s work goes beyond riding lessons. We support children, young people and adults from a variety of backgrounds, helping to build confidence, wellbeing, life skills and positive experiences through equine activities. We are proud to provide a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for both our participants and staff.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver safe, fun and engaging riding lessons and equine sessions
- Support riders of varying ages and abilities
- Promote excellent horse welfare and stable management
- Assist with general yard duties when needed
- Build positive and professional relationships with participants, families, volunteers and staff
- Help create a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere
- Support the My Life Legacy’s mission and values through everyday practice
What We’re Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who are:
- Qualified Riding Instructor at least BHS Stage 2 Coach or equivalent
- Passionate about horses and supporting people
- Friendly, patient and reliable
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledgeable in horse care and welfare
- Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults (desirable)
- Experience of coaching a variety of riders at all levels
- Aware of safeguarding and health & safety responsibilities
