C+E HIAB Driver Required

Location: Soyland, Halifax, West Yorkshire (HX6)
Due to continued growth, Chris The Crane & Son (C&S Transport) is looking to recruit an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HIAB Driver to join our expanding team.
We are a well-established family business specialising in the transport, lifting and installation of cabins, containers and modular buildings throughout the UK. We operate one of the most modern fleets in the industry and pride ourselves on delivering a professional, reliable service to our customers.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Transporting cabins, containers and modular buildings nationwide.
- Operating lorry loader (HIAB) cranes safely and efficiently.
- Installing, stacking and linking cabins and containers.
- Assisting with staircase installations.
- Working alongside crane operators and site teams.
- Carrying out daily vehicle and crane safety checks.
- Maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.
- Ensuring compliance with road transport legislation and health & safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- ALLMI Lorry Loader (HIAB) Certificate (or equivalent).
- Previous experience operating a HIAB crane.
- Experience moving cabins and containers is highly desirable.
- A professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience with cabin stacking, linking and staircase installations.
- Good understanding of site safety and lifting operations.
- Positive, can-do attitude with attention to detail.

Please note:
- Nights away will be required.
- Flexibility is essential due to the nature of our work.

The Job will be Monday to Friday based with weekend work as and when required.
Pay is £16 per hour up to 50 hours. With 50 hours pay been guaranteed each week.
Any work over 50 hours is paid at x 1.5 (£24.00 Per Hour)
Saturdays - £24.00 per hour
Sundays - £32.00 per hour
£20 per day extra when pulling your drawbar trailer
Nights out paid at £30 per night.
After 3 months of service you will be added to our AXA private medical insurance for you and you immediate family (Partner and children)
