We're looking for an experienced Plumber who wants to build a long-term career installing swimming pools/ ponds and bespoke water features. This is an opportunity to take your plumbing skills into a specialist industry where no two projects are the same. If you're a good plumber, we'll provide full training in swimming pool and water feature systems. We are market leaders in this industry with multiple RHS flower show winners medals so as you would expect our standards are high.
You are keen and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and get ‘stuck in.’ A ‘can-do’ approach is a must. You have a high attention to detail and love working hands-on and outdoors. You likely have a keen interest in landscapes, water and the environment.
What is the role?
This is a full-time position based and travelling from our office near Dorchester, Dorset. You will be supporting our site teams predominately with your technical expertise but will also be required to contribute with the wider project objective. This could include groundworks, basic electrics, filtration, rock work as well as other elements of building water features.
It is important to know that some project locations necessitate longer working days due to travel time with periods of staying away overnight in accommodation paid for by the company. Additional hours will equate to additional pay and shorter working weeks are part of providing a balanced lifestyle when working away.
Types of project we regularly design, build and maintain:
- Chemical free swimming pools & ponds
- Hard and soft landscaping
- Rock and water features
- Lakes and ponds
- Show Gardens (Chelsea Flower Show)
Key tasks will likely involve:
· Reading site plans and construction drawings
· Plumbing of uPVC + Polypropylene + flexible hose + MDPE
· Pressure testing pipework
· Pump & filter installation
· Fault finding and resolving
· Developing wider project skills to further support the team including: rockwork, lining & planting

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Normal hours are 8am-4.30pm with some early starts and late finishes
- Includes periods of staying away overnight.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of industry experience
- Finishing details to a very high standard.
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (Essential!)
