We are looking for Civil Engineers to work on a range of railway drainage projects, including tracked earthworks, drainage systems, embankment stabilisation, culverts, soakaways, and associated civil works. You will be involved in the optioneering, design, planning, and execution of these projects, collaborating closely with contractors, railway operators, and multidisciplinary teams.
Slough (initially full-time), transitioning to hybrid work across Slough, client offices in Basingstoke, and remote working.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent industry experience) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience in drainage design (railway drainage preferred but transferable skills from highways/water accepted).
Willingness to obtain PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification if not already held.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to conduct regular site visits.
Driving licence and car.
Experience in AutoCAD and MicroStation.
Experience in Micro Drainage.
Experience working on rail infrastructure projects.
Chartered status (CEng) or actively working towards it.
