Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience at every visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including tidying shelves, cleaning displays, and ensuring the overall store appearance is inviting
- Support stock replenishment by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and managing inventory levels efficiently
- Operate store equipment such as cash registers or point-of-sale systems accurately during transactions
- Assist with store safety protocols by monitoring the premises and reporting any maintenance or security issues promptly
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving minor concerns effectively
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude that fosters positive interactions
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift items for extended periods throughout the shift
- Willingness to learn about store products and operational procedures to better assist customers and team members
- Basic familiarity with operating retail equipment such as cash registers or scanners is advantageous
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends or evenings as required
Pay: £13.20 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
