Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full-Time Bar Tender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders for drinks and food, ensuring timely service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing receipts and change as necessary
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing empty glasses, and resetting stations for new guests
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
- Follow all food safety regulations and company policies to ensure guest safety at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Good time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- A genuine passion for serving others and creating positive guest experiences
Pay: £12.71 per hour
