Job Title: Retail Store Manager
Job Summary:
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, including sales performance, customer satisfaction, inventory control, staff supervision, and maintaining store standards. The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure the store operates efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate store employees.
- Set sales goals and monitor team performance to achieve targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints.
- Maintain inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and minimize stock losses.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Prepare work schedules and manage employee attendance.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Analyze sales reports and develop strategies to improve store performance.
- Coordinate promotional activities and merchandising displays.
- Maintain security of store assets and prevent theft.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily works in a retail store environment.
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
- May involve lifting and moving merchandise.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
