Electrician - Solar PV & Electrical Installations
We're looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Electrician to join our expanding team on a full-time self-employed basis.
With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth in the renewable energy sector, we can offer consistent, long-term work for the right person. You'll primarily be installing Solar PV systems on domestic properties, alongside a variety of electrical installation work including battery storage, consumer units and EV chargers.

Your Responsibilities
- Installation of Solar PV systems (AC & DC).
- Electrical installation, testing, inspection and fault finding.
- Installation of battery storage systems (where applicable) and EV chargers.
- Consumer unit upgrades and associated electrical works.
- Ensuring all work complies with current BS7671 regulations and health & safety requirements.
- Completing certification and installation documentation.
- Delivering high workmanship standards.
- Working efficiently both independently and alongside installation teams.
- Providing excellent customer service in clients homes.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- AM2 qualification.
- ECS or CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own van and a full set of tools.
- Ability to work safely at height.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and a professional attitude.
- Previous solar PV installation experience.
Desirable
- Solar PV-specific qualifications or certificates.
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent).
- Experience with battery storage and EV charger installations.
