We have an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator to join our successful and friendly lettings team.
As an independent letting agent, we pride ourselves on our excellent local knowledge, personal customer service and commitment to looking after our landlords and tenants. We are looking for an enthusiastic and approachable person who shares these values and would enjoy becoming part of our team.
About the role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and registering prospective tenants
- Arranging, organising and conducting property viewings
- Understanding applicants’ requirements and identifying suitable properties
- Building trust and developing long-lasting relationships with landlords, tenants and applicants
- Discussing suitable applications with landlords and agreeing lets and tenancy terms
- Developing a strong understanding of the local property market
- Working closely with the Lettings Manager to identify new business opportunities
- Contributing towards daily and weekly team targets
- Providing friendly, professional service throughout the lettings process
Skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous lettings or estate agency experience is essential.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- A professional, ambitious and enthusiastic approach
- A willingness to learn and develop
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A natural ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A full, clean driving licence
- Experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook
Training and development
Full in-house training will be offered, together with the opportunity to work towards a recognised professional qualification- the Propertymark Level 3 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management.
Working pattern
This is a five-day-per-week role and includes working every other Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. When working a Saturday, you will receive a weekday off.
