An exciting opportunity has arisen within the orthopaedic & fracture clinic, for a Health Care Support Worker to join our well-established multidisciplinary team.
We constantly aim to provide a high standard of care, to a wide range of clients. You would therefore need to be motivated and focused, possess good communication skills, an ability to provide excellent care in a fast-paced setting and basic IT skills.
We are looking to recruit a team player, who is enthusiastic about their work, with a willingness to learn new skills. You will need to be flexible with your working hours when required. Our current hours of opening are Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm
We can offer you relevant training and development opportunities and the opportunity to develop care skills working within a multidisciplinary framework.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will assist the healthcare practitioner to carry out New and Follow-up consultations in clinic
Work as a Chaparone when requested.
Maintain the department in regard to infection control procedures and monitoring health and safety.
Ensure that the patient's journey through department is smooth & efficient, ensuring patients are correctly sent for X-rays and returned and also guided to the treatment area and reception as required.
Basic personal cares as required such as helping a patient undress for clinical assessments, and supported with toileting needs as required. maintainance of privacy, dignity and respect.
Will ensure that patient who have been brought by transport have return transport booked timely and the collection of the patient is monitored.
You will provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
