About Us
Pixel Inspiration are an award-winning digital media solutions agency working with leading retail and commercial brands across the UK, Ireland and Europe, including Argos, L’Oréal, Tesco and Boots.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our Build Team with a hands-on, detail-focused Build Team Member to support the configuration, testing and preparation of digital signage hardware.
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site role based in Altrincham (WA14) and is ideal for both entry-level candidates and those with existing hands-on experience looking to build or develop a career in IT, AV or digital technology within a fast-growing agency environment.
Our Values
We look for people who share our core values and demonstrate them in their daily work:
⭐ Teamwork: Working as one collaborative team across all departments to achieve our goals together.
⭐ Innovation: Developing people, processes, and systems to make Pixel and our clients more successful.
⭐ Clients: Delivering best-in-class service to our clients, going above and beyond to assist them with our down-to-earth approach.
⭐ Respect: Treating colleagues, clients, and suppliers with respect in all interactions.

Operating within a practical, hands-on workshop and warehouse environment, you will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure all equipment is delivered to an exceptional standard.
As a physically active role, you will work with physical equipment daily. This includes the routine manual handling of screens and hardware, with full training provided for occasional heavier lifting in line with safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Configuration & Testing: Configure, test, and troubleshoot digital signage hardware and software components prior to deployment.
- Systems & Data Management: Own and maintain internal install tickets, log stock movements via our ERP system, and ensure the hardware asset register is accurately updated at the point of configuration.
- Technical Documentation: Produce basic cabling schematic diagrams to support installations in line with current AV standards.
- Logistics & Prep: Safely package, label, and prepare finalised equipment for secure shipment.
- Workspace Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe build environment at all times.
Note: Full training will be provided on our specific hardware, configurations, workflows, and proprietary content management platforms.
About You
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in IT, AV, or digital technology, or someone with existing hands-on experience looking to develop further. You should have a genuine interest in technology and hardware, a willingness to learn, and take pride in delivering work to an exceptional standard.
Key Attributes:
- Technical Knowledge: A strong fundamental understanding of Windows OS, PC hardware components, and basic technical troubleshooting.
