Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Barista to join our small, welcoming café team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, be friendly and reliable and work in a professional and efficient manner. 4-5 shifts available per week.
Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitor stock levels
- Ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting overall café functions
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during busy periods, including weekends when required
