Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities to ensure the efficient running of properties while maintaining high standards of service. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, coordinate maintenance projects, and optimise property performance through effective supervision and strategic planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Supervise maintenance activities, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and renovations by liaising with contractors and service providers.
- Utilise project management skills to plan and execute maintenance schedules and improvement projects within budget and timeframe.
- Maintain detailed schematics, technical documentation, and records related to property systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues or hazards, implementing preventative measures accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for property optimisation, including energy efficiency initiatives and cost control measures.
- Ensure all electrical systems are functioning correctly by reviewing schematics and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Communicate effectively in English with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate activities smoothly.
Experience
- Proven management experience within property or facilities management roles.
- Demonstrable project management expertise with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in maintenance procedures across various systems.
- Electrical experience including reading schematics and working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Supervising experience with leadership qualities that motivate teams towards achieving operational excellence.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
