Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative operations, including scheduling, record keeping, and data entry to ensure seamless nursery functioning
- Answer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing inquiries appropriately and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace tools, and QuickBooks for financial transactions and reporting
- Organize and coordinate appointments, parent meetings, and staff schedules to optimize nursery activities
- Oversee office supplies inventory, process invoices, and handle billing tasks efficiently
- Support onboarding processes for new staff members by preparing documentation and facilitating orientation sessions
- Ensure all communication channels are clear, timely, and professional to foster positive relationships with parents and staff
Qualifications
- Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and QuickBooks
- Prior administrative experience in a childcare or educational setting is preferred but not required
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle inquiries confidently and courteously
- Strong typing skills for efficient data entry and document preparation
- Knowledge of clerical procedures such as filing, record keeping, and correspondence management
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
