Hours: Full‑time, Mon-Fri 6am – 2.15pm
(Flexible to cover 8am – 4.15pm and 2pm – 10.15pm to cover holidays when required)

At Luceco Group, we're looking for a motivated and hands-on Cell Leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a warehouse operational team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, driving performance, improving processes, and ensuring customers receive an outstanding service. Based within our busy warehouse operation, you'll play a key role in achieving operational targets while developing and supporting your team.
About the Role
As a Cell Leader, you will oversee warehouse picking, packing and replenishment activities, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently and safely. You'll work closely with the Warehouse Management Team to drive continuous improvement, maximise productivity and maintain high levels of customer service.
This is a people-focused leadership role where you'll be responsible for coaching colleagues, monitoring performance, supporting investigations and disciplinary processes, and creating a positive, high-performing warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse picking and packing operations to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Ensure efficient replenishment of pick locations to support operational demand and customer requirements.
- Monitor and improve OTIF (On Time In Full) performance and customer service standards.
- Support the implementation of best-practice warehouse processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage forklift truck utilisation and operational resource planning.
- Track warehouse performance metrics and ensure team productivity targets are achieved.
- Investigate and record picking errors, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and team briefings.
- Support employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary hearings and note-taking responsibilities.
- Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all company policies and safe systems of work are followed.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Experience monitoring performance against KPIs and operational targets.
- Ability to motivate, coach and develop colleagues.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Desirable
- Experience using Red Ledge WMS.
- Forklift operational knowledge.
- Experience conducting investigations, disciplinary hearings or performance management processes.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
