Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of aggregates, soil, sand, stone, and other construction materials to customer sites while maintaining excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle.
- Deliver and collect aggregates and construction materials.
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time.
- Complete delivery paperwork and use electronic devices where required.
- Follow all road traffic laws and health & safety procedures.
- Keep the vehicle clean and well maintained.
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous tipper driving experience preferred but not essential.
- Good knowledge of driver hours and Working Time Regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Pay: £14.00-£22.94 per hour
