We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Wellington Farm Café.
This is a varied role involving food preparation, cooking meals from our café menu and supporting the kitchen team during busy services. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but applicants do not need to be qualified chefs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking food to a consistent standard
- Assisting with general food preparation
- Supporting the kitchen team during service
- Following food hygiene and allergen procedures
- Keeping the kitchen and preparation areas clean and organised
The successful applicant will be dependable, organised and able to work well as part of a team in a busy kitchen.
Approximately 32–40 hours per week, worked over four or five days. Daytime shifts only, with no evening work. Availability to work one weekend day is essential.
Pay: £14.50 per hour.
